Melissa is a MSc student in neuroscience and neuropsychology at the University of Padova. She joined the Social Brain & Developmental Lab to research the microbiota-gut brain axis and how nutrition shapes health and disease. Besides nutritional neurosciences, she is also interested in the clinical application of biofeedback and neurofeedback and how the mind-body relationship can be exploited to prevent and treat disease.
