Lauren is an associate professor of psychology in the Curtin School of Population Health, Curtin University, Perth, Australia. Her research program centres on the psychology of grief and loss, for which she is internationally recognised for her expertise. For example, she is a member of the Internal Work Group on Death, Dying and Bereavement and a Fellow of Thanatology: Death, Dying and Bereavement. Lauren is a board member of Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement and Lionheart Camp for Kids and Managing Editor of Death Studies. Lauren has published over 125 peer reviewed journal articles as well as several book chapters.
