Sami Ouanes is a Clinical Fellow in Advanced General Adult Psychiatry at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, and a Visiting Researcher at Weill Cornell Medical College, Qatar. He is also a member of the "Neuropsychiatry and Biomarkers" Research Unit in Lausanne University Hospital, Switzerland. He trained in psychiatry in Razi University Hospital, Tunis, in Valais Hospital, Sion, Switzerland, and in Lausanne University Hospital, Switzerland. He also has a university degree in Statistics and Methodology, as well as Master's Degrees in Epileptology, and in in Old Age Psychiatry. He authored over 60 publications, including articles, published abstracts, and book chapters, and has been a regular speaker in national and international conferences since 2011.
