Donncha is a Psychiatry trainee and exercise enthusiast, having qualified first as a Physiotherapist before studying Medicine. Currently doing a PhD at the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences, University of Edinburgh, looking at whether dementia can be predicted based on people's walking speed in mid-life (motoric cognitive risk syndrome). Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Sports and Exercise Special Interest Group. Donncha can be found in the hills around Scotland but is native to Ireland.
