Jingni completed her first degree in Applied Psychology in China, then she came to the UK for postgraduate studies. She has been studying under Msc Program DDCP (developmental disorders in clinical practice) at the University of York, where she undertook a project about sleep quality and memory consolidation in the adult with Autism (supervised by Dr. Lisa Henderson). Jingni joined the clinical psychology programme at the University of Edinburgh in 2018. Recently, she has been interested in research about nature-based interventions and well-being (supervised by Prof. William Jo and Dr Paul Graham Morris). Her PhD thesis aimed at exploring how nature-based interventions improve psychological well-being and mental health in adults. Her interests include nature and mental health, nature-based interventions, equality and human rights and universalism value.
