Sophie holds a first-class psychology degree from Manchester Metropolitan University and is currently an assistant psychologist in a deaf inpatient unit. She works with deaf patients who have a wide range of communication and complex needs. Sophie is due to start as a trainee psychological well-being practitioner in October working with the deaf population. She is interested in working with the deaf population and supporting with accessing healthcare.
