Dr Marlee Bower recently completed her PhD in September 2019 on the experience of loneliness amongst Australians with lived experience of homelessness from the Translational Health Research Institute, Western Sydney University, Australia. Currently, Marlee is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Matilda Centre for Research for Mental Health and Substance Use at the University of Sydney. Her research centres on the emotional and social wellbeing of vulnerable populations, with a particular focus on social isolation and loneliness. She also has experience working in government research and strategy in prison and homelessness settings.
