Garry is a Professor of Clinical Exercise Science at Northumbria University. He is a Chartered Scientist and a BASES Accredited Sport and Exercise Scientist. Garry’s main research interest is the role of exercise in the management and treatment of chronic diseases. He is a co-investigator on the SPACES project; an NIHR-funded programme of research that aims to co-produce and evaluate a physical activity intervention for adults with severe mental ill health.
