Santas arriving

What to do Musculoskeletal Elves do on a cold Sunday morning in December? As you know we have been having a physical activity theme to our blogs recently. Well Elves like to keep active and so this Sunday I changed out of my Elf outfit and into the outfit I borrowed from Santa, complete with white beard, and blended in with the 2,500 strong crowd on a 5K trot around Glasgow City centre.

Three Santas

Can you guess who is who?

There were Santas of all shapes and sizes including some baby Santas in pushchairs and Santa dogs.

Santas warming up

2500 Santas doing warmup Gangnam Style!

I dragged my own baby Elves along too. Can you guess who is who?

It was a great sight to see and fantastic to be right in the middle and being part of 2,500 Santas warming up Gangnam Style!!!

The event got lots of press coverage. What a great family physical activity…here’s to next year…

Were you there too?
