Maya is a PhD student at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Oxford, studying adverse outcomes in individuals with traumatic brain injury from an epidemiological and risk prediction lens. Maya is interested in population-scaled data, patient and public involvement, social equity and inclusion health. Other research areas of interest include race and intersectionality, interpersonal violence, trauma, sexual violence and psychiatry & conflict.
