Jill is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader PG Cert (AMHP) in the School of Social Work, Care and Community at the University of Central Lancashire. Her background is largely within mental health acting as a Social Worker, Social Work Team Manager and shortly afterwards the integration agenda within mental health services led to this becoming a multi-disciplinary management post within the Community Mental Health Team. Approved Social Work duties continued prior to taking up post at the University. Prior to and in between University courses, Jill has worked with different social care providers, including residential and day care provision for individuals experiencing mental health problems. Jill also spent some time working in a hospital Acute In-patient Mental Health Unit.
