Alison is a chartered psychologist and postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. Her PhD was on illness perceptions in older adults with mild cognitive impairment. More recently, she has been researching self-presentation, identity and stigma in neurological conditions.
