Becci (in person / Rebecca in publication) is a researcher working within the Affective Disorders Research Group, part of the Centre for Affective Disorders at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King's College London. The affiliation is a bit of a mouthful! Becci works primarily for Profs Tony Cleare and Allan Young. She has worked in a variety of roles in psychological research for the last 8 years, and is currently approaching the end of her part-time PhD study in Psychological Medicine. Her research interests span across many areas, ranging from factors influencing treatment response in affective disorders, to enhancing the use of immersive virtual reality in clinical research, neurobiological mechanisms in mood disorders, subtypes of mood disorders, and cognitive remediative approaches to bipolar disorder.
