Jodie graduated recently from the University of Exeter with an MSc in Applied Psychology. She received training in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Interventions enable her to work as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. Jodie is currently working as an Assistant Psychologist in an Adult Weight Management Service in the NHS, as well as a Policy Advisor for the Nighline Association. Prior roles included working as a Suicide Prevention Coordinator for Mind. Jodie is interested in topics including evidence-based psychological interventions, particularly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mental health services within primary care, the social determinants of mental health, the link between physical and mental health, trauma-informed care, risk management and suicidality.
