Mirabel Pelton is a PhD researcher at Coventry University exploring how the Interpersonal Theory of Suicide helps us understand and address high rates of suicide in autistic adults. She is also working as a research assistant at University of Nottingham looking at whether the reasons autistic people self-harm are different than those for non-autistic people. Mirabel’s work is guided by a strong belief of working in partnership with autistic people to understand and address high rates of suicide and self-harm.
