Alvin Richards-Belle is a second-year PhD student in the Division of Psychiatry on the UCL-Wellcome PhD programme in Mental Health Science. Alvin has a strong interest in the intersections between physical and mental health - particularly in how mental health conditions, or their treatments, can cause or impact physical health conditions. Other key interests include epidemiology, data science and improving methods of research conduct and representation in research. Alvin has an academic background in Psychology and over 10 years’ experience working on and managing large-scale randomised clinical trials and observational cohort studies in physical health settings.
