Samantha is a research coordinator at the Columbia Center for Eating Disorders, part of the New York State Psychiatric Institute. She graduated from New York University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree, double majoring in Psychology and Computer Science. Her research interests focus on habitual and ritualistic behaviors in psychiatric conditions, such as eating disorders and OCD. She is particularly interested in utilizing neuroimaging techniques to explore the development of these conditions and enhance the understanding of treatment effectiveness.
