Brynmor Lloyd-Evans is a Senior Lecturer in the Division of Psychiatry at University College London. He is a mental health social worker, but since 2005 has worked full-time in academic research. His research interests include: social interventions in mental health – especially supporting social inclusion and addressing loneliness, crisis alternatives to inpatient admission, defining models of care and service improvement. Bryn is a Deputy Director of the NIHR Mental Health Policy Research Unit. In 2017-18, he was a member of the Working Group which supported the Independent Review of the Mental Health Act.
