Ivan is a PhD student at University College London in the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience. He is studying the interaction between touch and cold sensation by combining human, animal and computational work. For 5 years, he has directed Drugs and Me, a social enterprise which aims to make drug use safer by creating and sharing knowledge, and by developing software. He is also co-founder and shareholder of NeuroSight, a company which aims to prevent drug-related harm by working with organisations. Ivan is interested in most topics related to substance use. For instance, the neuroscience of drugs, harm reduction and the use of psychedelics for the treatment of mental health conditions. He is also interested in pedagogy, education and science of learning.
