Lisa is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Birmingham. She is interested in the strengths and limitations of the human mind and her research focuses on irrational belief and mental health. She is the author of Delusions and Other Irrational Beliefs (OUP, 2009), and Irrationality (Polity, 2014). Her latest book is Delusions in Context (Palgrave, 2018), featuring contributions by Richard Bentall, Rachel Upthegrove, and Philip Corlett.
