Tanya is a registered social worker and fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She was a social worker, manager and senior manager in local authority and voluntary sector services for more than 20 years before becoming a social work lecturer. She currently teaches at the Tavistock and Portman NHS trust, is a social care trainer and a Visiting Lecturer for the University of Hertfordshire. Tanya is equally enthusiastic about social work, social care and teaching.
