Sammy is a final year PhD student at University Bath & University of Exeter where she has been looking at how caffeine and physical activity influence mood in bipolar disorder. She has recently started a postdoctoral research position at Exeter University where she is the lead researcher on a project investigating if and how outdoor blue spaces benefit the lives of people with serious mental illnesses (bipolar and psychosis). Sammy is passionate about researching and helping others improve their mental health and wellbeing, to feel happier and healthier through lifestyle behaviours such as physical activity, diet, mindfulness, yoga.
