Rudi qualified in Germany and has worked in the UK, Europe and sub-Saharan Africa in general medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, and academic public health before becoming a consultant in genitourinary medicine and HIV. He is a consultant at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. His research interests are healthcare for minorities and people with poor access to care. He specialises in providing Sexual and reproductive health care for disenfranchised and marginalised people and for people with serious health problems and in addition to “normal clinics in sexual health and HIV” he works with PAUSE, SHRINE and 2 Prisons. Awards: David Bromham Award for innovation in sexual and reproductive healthcare - Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, Cathy Harman Award for Innovation in Sexual Health - British Association for Sexual Health and HIV He is a consultant at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
