Kirsten is a clinical pharmacist who has worked in mental health for 11 years. During this time Kirsten has worked across adults, older adults, forensics, learning disabilities, IPCU, rehabilitation and children's services. Kirsten is an active prescriber for both inpatient and outpatient services. Kirsten graduated with an MPharm and then went on to complete her PgDip in Clinical Pharmacy before undertaking the PgCert in Independent Prescribing. Currently Kirsten is completing an MSc in Strategic Service Planning and Delivery across Health and Social Care. Her current research project is looking at what constitutes as meaningful engagement of lived experience in Mental Health service design to support future improved integration of this to improve patient care and therapeutic engagement. Kirsten has a interest in quality improvement and research interests include how this can be applied across Mental Health services to aid transformation and improved patient outcomes.
