Medical students are less likely to seek professional support despite higher levels of mental illness.

Caries lesions in enamel – Still drill and fill?

This review of dental clinicians thresholds for intervention in teeth with caries included 30 studies over a 31year time span. 21% (95%CI;15%-28%) of dentists/therapists would intervene invasively for lesions confined to enamel doubling in high risk patients with little changed being noted over time.

Burnout in dentistry

Feeling about abuse were so strong people found it difficult to find words

33 papers on burnout in dentistry were included in this review with thematic analysis identifying a number of factors including; younger age, male gender, student status, high job-strain/working hours, those enrolled in clinical degree programmes and certain personality types associated with the condition.
