I am currently doing an MSc in Global Mental Health at the University of Glasgow and working as a Peer Researcher at the Helen Bamber Foundation. I completed my undergraduate psychology degree in 2024, while volunteering in the NHS as a research assistant. My time in the NHS gave me insight on the current disparity in accessing mental health services, especially towards minority groups and non-citizens. This disparity seemed to especially affect survivors of trauma. As I believe everyone can recover from trauma, my studies and work have been driven by a passion for making mental health services and treatments universally accessible.
