Sophie is a Research Associate based at the Institute for Mental Health at the University of Birmingham. Her main research focus is the interplay between genetic, immune and environmental factors in psychiatric disorders, with an interest in patient and public involvement and engagement. She has a background in psychology, youth mental health and genomics, and she is closely following the ongoing implementation of genomic medicine as part of routine NHS care.
