Dr Prianka Padmanathan is a clinical academic in Psychiatry and is undertaking a PhD at the University of Bristol investigating suicide and self-harm amongst people with alcohol and/or opioid dependence. She is a member of the University of Bristol Suicide and Self-harm (SASH) research group. Alongside her PhD, Prianka currently works in Addiction Psychiatry in Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. She holds an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Her interests include adults, suicide, self-harm, addictions, clinical trials, cohort or cross-sectional studies, systematic reviews, low- and middle-income settings.
