Nuala Morse is a Lecturer in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester. Her research focuses on the politics of cultural participation and on museum work and care, as ethics and practice. Within this second theme, she explores how the social role of museums is currently being mobilised in response to the healthcare agenda; the health and wellbeing impact of taking part in museum-based activities for mental health service users, stroke survivors and people living with dementia; and museum professionals’ practices of care.
