Natalie is a psychiatrist and has worked for many years in general adult psychiatry. Since the start of 2018 she has been working at the Clinical Research Facility (CRF), part of the Research Delivery Team at The Warneford Hospital, Oxford. She sees trial participants at the CRF who need a medic's input. Current trials she is involved with include observational studies looking in to the prevention Alzheimer's Disease, treatment of depression, treatment of antibody-associated psychosis and the characterisation and treatment of mood instability. Her work in general adult psychiatry has been very varied over the years and she continues to enjoy practising general adult psychiatry on a very part time basis in addition to her role in research.
