Milagros is a postgraduate student currently studying a master’s in Brain and Mind Sciences at University College London (UCL), UK. Milagros has long-maintained an interest in mental health by joining the University of Oxford-run BeGOOD Young People’s Advisory Group and becoming involved in various affiliated projects before attending university. More recently, Milagros worked for a year as a special education needs (SEN) teaching assistant primarily for young children (Reception and KS1) with autism. Milagro's research interests include evolutionary psychiatry, neurodevelopment, schizophrenia, and autism.
