Marianne is a Research Fellow in Suicide Prevention at Orygen and the Centre for Youth Mental Health at the University of Melbourne. Her PhD investigated the design, effectiveness and implementation of a psychosocial screening app for young people attending general practice. She is currently leading a study to develop guidelines for researchers to safely and effectively partner in research with young people with a lived experience of suicide. Marianne’s research interests are centred around young people’s mental health, help-seeking readiness and agency in the care they receive, the integration of technology into clinical care, and participatory research.
