Julia is currently pursuing a PhD in the Department of Psychiatry at The University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on childhood trauma, social cognition and clinical high risk for psychosis. She is part of the Child and Adolescent Resilience and Mental Health Team, led by Professor Tamsin Ford. In parallel with her academic training, she works as a Clinical Research Practitioner in the NHS, supporting the implementation of a clinical trial focused on Alzheimer’s disease. Her past experiences include both clinical and research work in the areas of clinical high risk for psychosis, neurorehabilitation, dementia, Parkinson’s Disease and Tourette Syndrome.
