James is a trainee clinical psychologist at the University of Manchester. His current research will focus on adverse experiences of psychotherapy, using a mixed-methods approach. His other research interests are institutionalisation, trauma and abuse. James has a background in languages/linguistics and queer history, prior to studying psychology.
