Holly Platt is an undergraduate psychology student at the University of Bath, interested in the intersections of neurodiversity, mental health, and chronic health conditions. She is on placement during 2024-25, working as a Research Intern in the Child and Adolescent Resilience and Mental Health (ChARM) team at the University of Cambridge, where she is assisting with research on school-based mental health interventions.
With classroom mental health programmes on the rise, this review raises an important question: are we doing more harm than good? The evidence suggests universal interventions may not be right for everyone.
