Giulia is a clinical mental health sciences graduate from UCL. Her main research interest is LGBTQ+ mental health, with a particular focus on the trans/gender diverse community, suicidality, psychotherapies and loneliness. Giulia is also interested in youth mental health, including anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. She has a preference for quantitative methods, and values co-production as well as the involvement of lived experience researchers.
Transgender and gender diverse (TGD) people face shockingly high rates of violence, but often don’t receive the care they deserve after those experiences. This new systematic review brings together the views of TGD individuals and providers to ask: what should post-violence health care look like?
