Courtney Taylor Browne Luka is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Glasgow. Her research interests are predominantly within mental health, particularly body‑focused repetitive behaviours (such as trichotillomania and skin picking), social connectedness, and loneliness. She is especially interested in grounded cognition and the development of situated assessment methods to better capture lived experience. More recently she has been interested in exploring social media use in university students and the experience of international students in relation to their mental health and sense of belonging.
