Annie Irvine is a qualitative researcher with over 20 years' experience of applied social research. Her work focuses around the themes of mental health, employment and health and welfare systems. She has conducted research for the Department for Work and Pensions, the Department of Health, and projects commissioned by or in collaboration with a variety of third sector charities and research funding councils. Annie seeks primarily to contribute to research that has policy and practice relevance, whilst also exploring conceptual and theoretical aspects of mental health and society.
