I am an Assistant Psychologist at the NHS perinatal mental health service. I decided to change my career from banking to psychology in 2020 and completed an MSc in Psychology (Conversion) at the University of Exeter in 2023 after working in banking for 5 years. Growing up in a household with a family member with severe mental illnesses, I developed strong interests in perinatal mental health, parenting, attachment, trauma (especially in intergenerational trauma) and ethnic inequalities in mental health services. I am also passionate about service developments that enhance support for carers for people with mental health issues. In my spare time, I am active in church and enjoy playing guitar and jogging.
