Social Worker by trade. Currently seconded as Head of Adult Social Work & Communities in a Local Authority. Substantive post is as area manager of local authority Community Learning Disability and Autism Service. I have worked most of my career in Mental Health, Commissioning and Learning Disability. Many years as an Approved Social Worker/Approved Mental Health Practitioner. I love being a social worker. Passionate about true citizenship and real communities particularly for Adults with a Learning Disability.
