Michael is a GP partner working in Earby, Lancashire. He also works as GPwSI in the Pennine and Lancashire Integrated Musculoskeletal Service. He has a postgraduate diploma in MSK medicine and rheumatology and has previously gained the MRCP. He has an interest in postgraduate teaching, and while not at work he puts some theory into practice as a triathlon coach for the local club. The Primary Care Rheumatology Society was created in 1986 by a group of General Practitioners with a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine and rheumatology, with the aim of improving knowledge & education within primary care, building partnerships with other allied professionals, and improving the standards of care provided to patients with these conditions.
