Allan is a Lecturer in Podiatry at Glasgow Caledonian University. He has been the recipient of a Scottish Executive AHP Travel Scholarship and a Silver Award at the Chairman’s Awards at NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. He has published in peer reviewed journals and has presented at national and regional conferences. He has certificates in prescription only medicines, Independent prescribing, corticosteroid injection therapy, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound and and MSc in Theory of Podiatric Surgery. He was awarded Fellowship of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2013. He is currently a member of the Executive Board for the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
